The Awesome Stuff

First, our newsletter. This is our weekly effort to give it to you all. Useful intel, interviews with entrepreneurs, resource links, event updates and more.  The Deets is even named in honor of our Digital Marketing Director, because she always says “gimme the deets”.  That’s exactly what we hope to give you, the details. Well, it may not be weekly, sometimes we might have nothing of value to say…

We’ll even ask you to contribute, if you’re cool with that.

This year’s event will be happening at the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City, New Jersey November 12-14th.

Next, the events. We produce various business focused events.  ProcurementCon is our highly focused government contracting event.  These are one or two day events bringing federal, state and local agencies, prime contractors, and resource partners under one roof.  Imagine an industry day with every agency raving on the main stage, waving glow sticks and thumping to the hottest EDM… okay not exactly like that, but you get it.

A quick message from the founder of Black Ink and The ProcurementCon Brand.

My name is Eric Vincent and I’m the founder of Black Ink Creative Partners and the ProcurementCon Brand.  I’ve got over a decade as a government contractor and more than 30 years in marketing, creative strategies, and branding. We recently launched this new venture, ProcurementCon (last year), and we’re blowing up!  Our mission is to support small business while still making an honest living and sharing our expertise as well as those of our resource partners.  Trying to pack 50 lbs of sausage in a five pound bag is a full time job.  I hope you’ll stay with is and take advantage of everything we offer.

This is me being 90’s cool

We also have our BizCon brand which is a regional one day event.  These events, while anyone can attend, bring State and local agencies and resource partners, along with hyper local resource partners to various regions.  Our next event is the Monmouth Ocean BizCon being held at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft NJ.  That’s happening May, date to be announced (we had to reschedule because we did a thing).

Here’s what we did.In the spirit of innovation, services, and connections and inspired by the early SXSW model, The Small Business Showcase and Expo spotlights diverse small businesses from manufacturing to music production, and aims to spotlight your business to a varying and wide audience, including purchasing agents, other entrepreneurs,

consumers, financiers, and connoisseurs. Our goal is to create an exciting event that attracts curious and interested audiences, encouraging them to discover unexpected gems while celebrating entrepreneurship and supporting businesses in a lively and engaging atmosphere.  We’re creating a memorable experience for you to thrive in.

We have two scheduled this year, the smaller indoor event on March 11th at Brookdale Community College and the larger outdoor event for July in Voorhees, NJ.  Details coming soon!  If you’re interested in being a vendor at our SBSE event, please email us at [email protected]

Now, The Resources

Aside from the resource partners providing us with presentations for you to access, we also interview them for our media page and for our YouTube talk show, BizTalk the Show.  Not only do we access resource partners, but we get other entrepreneurs and subject matter experts to spill their guts so you might be able to find some valuable information or inspiration.

As a subscriber we might ask you to be on our show.

We receive presentations from our events, exclusive to attendees. As a thank you for reading this far, we're extending these presentations to you—no pay walls, no pop-ups. While some of the content originates from NJ, organizational resources share similar insights applicable across regions. Despite varying rules, the methodologies remain valuable. Explore the presentations & glean insights to apply in your own context, even if you're in Texas.  10 presentations

Thank you for making it to the end.

See no sales pitch, no buy this or pay for that, as promised.  Got a topic you want us to discuss? Want to be the person in the know? Email us your suggestion for a small business topic for either our media page or talk show.  We’re all ears.  Send suggestions to: [email protected]
